Deb Anderson

With more than 20 years of health information technology (HIT) and 40 years of general IT experience, Deb Anderson, CPHIMS, is passionate about the use of information and technology to help transform health.

She currently consults on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-funded contracts supporting chronic disease prevention and self-management initiatives including leveraging Health Information Technology to record and report quality care, assessing for social needs and supporting interoperability including Health Information and Community Information Exchange.

Deb serves on committees for health information exchange (HIE) efforts in both Wyoming and Montana and works to promote and expand telehealth adoption regionally. She serves on the chapter board of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) as the Montana chapter president, she is a member of Wyoming Frontier Information (WYFI) Executive Steering Committee and past committee chair, and she serves on the Big Sky Care Connect (BSCC of MT) executive board.

Her areas of expertise include emerging technologies in chronic disease prevention and management, health equity, person-centered care and health data interoperability.
